The answer to why I barely update anymore is simple: I'm addicted to World of Warcraft.
I've been into MMORPGs since the days of EverQuest. But with all of them, I got tired of the game around level 24 or so. By then, I felt like I'd really explored all I could do with my character and I'd start to play other classes and races in the game. And eventually I'd move on to the next one: Anarchy Online (I loved the sci-fi universe, I just wish it was a better game), Dark Ages of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies, and now World of Warcraft.
I've got a level 40 Troll Rogue on Azgalor named Mirii, so that's the highest I've ever gotten in an MMORPG, and I'm nowhere near bored with the game. The world is so huge -- there are tons of areas I've yet to explore and the quest system is the best I've seen. We've got a huge Raven clan so I've always got people to play with.
And, uh...so yeah. I'm, uh, going to go play some more.
