Anyone seen those H2 commercials? The one with the kid building a soapbox racer that looks like an H2, and then when he's on the track he cheats by going off-track to cut in front and win the race? (Though I suppose the H2 brand managers probably believe that he's "using the off-road capabilities to his advantage.")
The slogan at the end of the ad should read, "buy an H2 and you too earn the right to be an asshole."
I suppose you can't say they don't know their audience.
I still have to fight the physical urge to key every Hummer I go past.
I've been noticing that kind of thing in a lot of commercials these days. It finishes and I'm just left thinking:
"So the message here is that people who use this product are lunatics\fanatics\morons?"
Ex: The guy who takes the cover off of his vintage Lincoln convertible to put it on his pre-owned Lexus.
Ex: The guy who forecefully shoves his young son out of his way into a pool so he can grab a quarter.

LOL...I am so glad someone else voiced this. Everytime I see a Hummer I want to key the hell out of it.
I have an idea. Seeing as H2 customers have an overwhelming urge to drive in a military-grade battling ram modified with a CD player and cruise control, why not send THEM along with their behemoth of destruction to Iraq!?
DRAFT the Hummer drivers...I like it. Anyone else?
