STRANDS AND ENDS
Hello! I wanted to give some props to a very kind man named John Nichols who recently contacted us. He said that his mother had been a charity knitter, and when she died a year ago she left behind yarn that he and his father didn't know what to do with. After finding us, they asked if they could send it to use for our charity projects. It's a wonderful gift and we wanted to thank John and his dad -- and his mother, of course -- for their generosity. The yarn and charity money will go to great causes, guys!

Felted Purple and Black BagMade by Caryn

Caryn says, "this is my first felted project and I think it came out great, so I'm putting it up for charity!" This is a small purple and black felted bag made from 50/50 wool and mohair, giving it a very fuzzy texture. The horizontal black lines in the bag body against the purple background are very subtle from the felting. The bag has two straps, black and purple, that allow it to fall mid-hip. The bag is small at a few inches across. (It currently doesn't have a clasp, but Caryn is adding that now and was impatient to get this up for auction!)
